Yes, it is possible to check out audiobooks from the library through Library2Go (http://library2go.lib.overdrive.com). You will need to install the Overdrive Media Console software on your computer. You can use this software to download books and then transfer them to your iPod. The complete instructions are here: http://help.overdrive.com/customer/portal/articles/1481621.
