There are a few libraries (Oregon State Unviersity, University of Oregon, and the Oregon Historical Society in Portland) that have a single volume that is earlier than 1934. They all have the 1913 volume of the Polk Directory for Linn and Benton County. I checked our state library catalog (https://ccrls.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/oslpublic/), but they do not have anything earlier than we do.

Our local Benton County Historical Society has a database of several business directories from 1867-1932, including the Polk Directory, so if you are looking for the business information or a name associated with a business, this may be helpful. The database is available online here: http://www.bentoncountymuseum.org/index.php/research/historic-business-directories/

You can also contact the Historical Society here:  http://www.bentoncountymuseum.org/index.php/visit/. They may have more print directories, but I was unable to contact them today to confirm.
