Unfortunately, over a year ago we had to discontinue our Interlibrary Loan Services (for more information about that, read this).
If you would like to suggest downloadable audiobook titles for purchase, there is a way to do this for our downloadable audiobook collection. It's slightly different than the process we have for print books or CD books. Here's the process:
1) Search for the title of the ebook in Library2Go. You will not see it.
2) In the “Show Me” box on the upper left, select Additional titles to recommend. This includes everything that we are able to purchase whether we have it or not. (Please note: on some occasions, you may not see a title because the publisher is not offering it for purchase to libraries).
3) Click on the title.
4) Click the green Recommend button.
You can see what ebooks(s) or downloadable audiobooks you've requested in your Library2go account. You can see them by logging in to your Library2Go account, clicking on Account, then Settings, then Lists, then selecting Recommended by you in the drop-down list. These requests will go to a selector who purchases ebooks and digital audiobooks for the entire Oregon Digital Library Consortium. You will receive a notification if they are purchased and they will automatically be placed on hold for you.
Thanks for contacting us. Have a great afternoon!
ps - I'm not sure if you've heard of this, but LibriVox is a website that offers free downloadable audiobooks that are in the public domain. It might be something to look at for more downloadable audiobooks.
