Q. If a book in the catalog is listed as 'missing' and there are no other copies, will a replacement be reordered?
Several books on my hold list seem to show the only copy as 'missing' and I wanted to know if these will automatically have a replacement ordered by the library at some point or if I should send in a purchase request to see if it might be reordered that way? Thank you!
We do review missing books but they are not automatically reordered. You can send in a purchase request and add a note that our copy is missing. If we know there is interest in title we are more likely to reorder it.
