Thanks for your email, and I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this problem! This is a pattern we’re seeing with audiobook downloads from OverDrive. It doesn’t happen every time, but it has been happening regularly for the past few months. We are working with OverDrive to pinpoint the source of this issue. Here’s what you can do:

  1. First of all, please let us know some more details about what internet service provider (ISP) you were using when this error first happened to you:

    This data is critical to resolving this problem, as it will help us to perhaps isolate the issue to a particular ISP in our area.

  2. Try re-downloading the title at another time. If you get an error message about too many download attempts, let us know and we will reset the title for you, so you can get more attempts.

  3. See if the audiobook title is available in 3M Cloud Library instead - we are not seeing any of these audio download issues with Cloud Library.
